Why We Post Our Losing Trades Too

A trading log showing both winning and losing trades openly

Scroll through crypto Twitter and you’ll see an endless feed of green screenshots — winning trade after winning trade, 10x after 10x. What you almost never see is the other half of the story: the losses. We publish ours on purpose, and we think you should be wary of anyone who doesn’t.

Every strategy loses sometimes

There is no trading approach that wins 100% of the time. None. Not ours, not anyone’s. Professional traders aren’t right more often than everyone else — they simply lose less when they’re wrong, and let their winners run.

A service showing you only wins is hiding the most important number: how often, and how badly, it loses. Without that, a win rate is meaningless.

Cherry-picked wins are a red flag

It’s trivially easy to screenshot only your winners and delete the rest. A feed of nothing but green isn’t evidence of skill — it’s evidence of selective posting. The accounts running outright scams rely on exactly this illusion, because it’s what convinces people to send money.

When you only see wins, you can’t judge anything real. When you see wins and losses, you can evaluate the actual edge.

What transparency looks like

For us it means tracking every signal publicly, from entry to close, regardless of outcome. A losing trade gets posted the same as a winning one. Over time that produces an honest record: a real win rate, a real risk-to-reward profile, and a real sense of what a normal losing streak looks like.

That honesty also protects you. If you know losses are part of the process, a string of red doesn’t make you panic and abandon a working approach at the worst possible moment.

Past results aren’t a promise

Being transparent about our record doesn’t mean those results are guaranteed to continue. Markets change, and past performance is not indicative of future outcomes. We share our numbers in good faith as history, not as a forecast. Please read our disclaimer.

The bottom line

Transparency isn’t a marketing angle for us — it’s how a serious community has to operate. If you’re evaluating any signal service, look for one that shows you the losses. If they won’t, ask yourself what they’re hiding.
